Panama has a comprehensive intellectual property legislation dispensing a solid protection and related intellectual property rights in our country. Our country is a signatory to most international conventions and treaties on the subject, which gives legal certainty to our customers regarding the proper protection of their intellectual rights.
Our services include the registration and protection of trademarks, patents, trademarks, industrial designs at the General Registry of Industrial Property (DIGERPI) and registration of copyright.
We offer legal representation in disputes arising on the occasion of the protection of these rights in Intellectual Property, Industrial and Related Rights (oppositions to trademark registration, revocation and cancellation actions) legal representation, civil and criminal proceedings against violation of intellectual property rights, as we assist our clients in licensing contracts, sales and franchising.
